There will be a variety of possible activities during the party weekend!  This page will be updated as new activities are confirmed or suggested.  Feel free to make suggestions for cool activities you find, and I can add links to this page for the other guests!

Confirmed: Private hikes and photography tips with Bryan Millar Walker.

Bryan has been booked for two private hikes, one on Friday Dec. 2.  This is first come first serve and anyone is welcome to join this hike!  Location TBD currently.

He is also booked for another random day of hiking, which is again first come first serve.  Check out his website/ Tik Tok/ Insta and let me know if you're interested!  He's wonderfully competent, artistic, friendly, and either creative or patient enough to do business with me.  :)

Confirmed: Highland Games with Primal Adventures.

On Saturday morning, the owner, Matt, and the lovely people of Primal Adventures will treat us to a Highland Games experience!  This could include sword fighting, archery, falconry, piping, dancing, and plenty of other thematic activities!  Matt has also been incredibly friendly, flexible, and charming with my outrageous plan!

Confirmed: Music with Ed Simmons.

Saturday evening, Ed will be playing during and after the dinner!  He's an Irish musician with a rapidly growing following on Tik Tok, and a talent to match!  He was extremely nice about booking this event for us!

• You'll be able to take tours in many local towns and cities

  • Edinburgh will have tours for local breweries and distilleries, the castle, the catacombs, and many others

  • Dundee will have whiskey tours, a botanical garden, and more

  • St. Andrews is nearby for any golf enthusiasts

  • Visit Scotland is the premiere website for all your tourism and activity queries

 

• Christmas markets 

  • There should be Christmas markets  in every nearby town, as well as one in Glamis Castle itself.  If you've never been, they're definitely worth seeing!​

• Vow renewal

  • If you want to renew your vows, get married, propose, elope, or need a priest for any other reason, one is on standby!  Please confirm with me so we can organize timing​

• Photoshoots

  • If you want to dress like a princess or a Scottish warrior and prance through the scenery while having a photoshoot, we have people for that too!  Again, just confirm with me so we can organize the timing​

• Kilt rental

  • If you want to have a full kilt kit for the weekend, rentals can be arranged​

​​

• Nightlife

  • Edinburgh has a great pub and club scene if you're wanting to go that route​
