The Castles

At this time, due to the number of guests invited, three castles have been reserved. Rooms have not been assigned and this may change based on RSVPs. You may submit your preferences but there are no guarantees

Lindsay will be staying at Turin, and as of now all activities will be held there.

TURIN CASTLE

Since 1659, Turin Castle has been a haven, hidden from the rest of the world. Relocated stone-by-stone from a loch in 1907 and nestled on twenty acres of sprawling private gardens, the castle offers majestic views of the rolling Scottish countryside.

Turin is a smaller castle manor with a homey feel.  Guests will have free reign of nearly every part of the property, at all times.

It will be the home base for Lindsay as well as the currently scheduled activities.

KINNAIRD CASTLE

Kinnaird Castle is a 15th-century castle near Brechin, in Angus Council, Scotland. The castle has been home to the Carnegie family,

the Earls of Southesk, for more than 600 years. The Duchess Caroline of Fife and her family still reside in this castle, and therefore guest access will be limited to the apartment tower rooms.  Discretion is expected for this accommodation.

GLAMIS CASTLE

Glamis Castle has been the ancestral seat to the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne since 1372, inspiration for Shakespeare’s Macbeth, the childhood home of HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, and birthplace of HRH The Princess Margaret.

As the 19th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne currently lives in Glamis Castle, it is not open for public stays, but we will be able to tour the castle and attend the Christmas market.

GLAMIS HOUSE

Located on the Glamis estate, Glamis House is a manor built in 1800 for the Factor of the 10th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne.

It has since housed many notable Glamis family members, until its renovation in 2017.  Guests of Glamis will be staying here

at the House and will have free reign of the entire property, at all times.
